What this site is

TensorHype is a small, independent project: a growing set of finance calculators — retirement, compounding, Social Security — plus data pages that put the numbers in context. Everything runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no paywalls.

How the tools are built

• Methodology on the page. Every calculator explains how its math works, right next to the widget — not buried in a help article.
• Estimates labeled as estimates. Where a tool can only give a ballpark (like the Social Security estimator), it says so plainly, with an honest accuracy range and a link to the official source.
• Cited, date-stamped data. Data pages use published sources — Fidelity, the IRS, the Social Security Administration — with attribution and the date the figures cover, and they're refreshed as new numbers come out.

How it's funded

The site is free to use and supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads and basic analytics (Google Analytics and PostHog) to understand which tools people use. Your calculator inputs — salary, savings, age — are never sent anywhere; see the privacy policy for the details.

What it isn't

TensorHype is not a financial advisor and nothing here is financial advice. The calculators are planning tools: useful for building intuition and comparing scenarios, not for final decisions. For anything that matters, verify against official sources — the IRS, the Social Security Administration, or a qualified fiduciary advisor. This site is not affiliated with any of them.
